The Demon Powersports X-Treme Heavy Duty Axles are \"Hell Rated\" for harsh terrains in racing (Desert, Sand, Mud, Rock, Short Courses). They feature larger CV joints and shafts, a proprietary dual heat treatment process, and are constructed entirely from 4340 Chromoly Steel (shaft, housing, cage, race, and balls). Some Race Spec models also offer a 300M shaft, an aircraft-grade alloy with Vanadium and higher silicon content for enhanced strength and resistance to high-temperature oxidation. The axles have a re-engineered cage design for durability and use Molybdenum grease for lubrication. Inner components are micro-polished to reduce CV heat. The 4340 chromoly steel's elasticity helps absorb stress, preserving the differential and drivetrain components. These axles are specifically designed for long travel suspension kits and lift kits. They are optimized for heat to ensure CVs run cooler and last longer.
