The Garagistic K0571 is a 14lb lightweight flywheel engineered for the Mercedes Benz 16v Cosworth 190e W201.034 chassis, aiming to improve engine response by reducing rotational mass. This component is specifically designed for racing purposes and is compatible with dog leg Getrag 5-speed transmissions, as well as other 5-speed manual transmissions requiring a single mass flywheel with a long input shaft. This flywheel kit includes a 7lb button-style flywheel, a torque plate, crank bolts, pressure plate bolts, and flex plate bolts with washers. It requires the reuse of the vehicle's automatic ring gear (flexplate), which bolts onto the button-style flywheel. A 228mm clutch compatible with the W201 2.6 or 2.3-16 models is recommended for optimal performance. Crucially, the installation requires the correct positioning of the crank position sensor (CPS). The OEM washer for the CPS must be installed, as it acts as a spacer essential for achieving the proper CPS position.
