Description

The Flyin' Miata 14mm aluminum crush washer is specifically designed for sealing oil pan drain plugs on the NB, NC, and ND generations of vehicles. It is also compatible with 14mm banjo bolts, often found in turbo system installations where it should be placed on either side of the banjo fitting. This washer is constructed from aluminum and measures 14mm in diameter. It functions as a crush washer, meaning it deforms upon tightening to create a tight seal. For optimal performance and to prevent leaks, Flyin' Miata recommends replacing the crush washer every time the associated fitting is disassembled. One washer is required for an oil drain plug, while two are needed per banjo bolt. While the product is listed under Suspension and Components, its primary application is for sealing fluid connections. It is explicitly stated that NA oil drain plugs require an 18mm crush washer, not this 14mm version.
