The Sherwood G-8002 is a bronze engine cooling pump end only, with a Neoprene impeller. It features 3/8 inch NPT inlet and discharge ports. The pump is corrosion resistant with a high chrome nickel stainless steel slotted drive shaft, convenient drain plug, machined-in cam, flange mounting, and vertical in and out ports. It has two separate seals. The flexible impeller requires lubrication from the pumped liquid and is self-priming, capable of a 15-foot suction lift when wet. Constructed from marine-quality bronze and stainless steel, ideal for ruggedness and reliability in marine environments. The Neoprene impeller has temperature limits of 45°F to 180°F (7°C to 82°C). It can pump thin or viscous liquids and handle solids in suspension. The pump operates at low or high speeds, can be mounted at any angle, and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency. It is designed to be fully serviceable.
