The Rockford Fosgate P1S4-15 is a 15-inch subwoofer designed to deliver powerful bass.

It features a 4-Ohm single voice coil and a 250-watt RMS power handling capability, with a maximum power handling of 500 watts. The subwoofer utilizes a Kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone for enhanced bass impact and VAST technology to increase cone area. It is best suited for standard sealed and vented enclosures and includes a soft-touch ABS trim ring.

The Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S4-15 is a 15-inch subwoofer that continues the legacy of the "Punch" series, originally introduced in the 1980s. It features a 2.0-inch (51.6 mm) anodized aluminum voice coil former for superior heat dissipation, a StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, and a linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads. The subwoofer also includes custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals and a protective PVC textured magnet cover. It is CEA-2031 compliant, ensuring its power handling meets industry standards. With a nominal impedance of 4-Ohms and 250 Watts RMS power handling (500 Watts Max), the P1S4-15 is engineered for robust performance. Its Thiele-Small parameters include an Fs (resonant frequency) of 23 Hz, a Vas (equivalent volume) of 191.5 liters, and a Qts of 0.55. The subwoofer boasts a sensitivity of 87 dB (1W/1m) and 90 dB (2.8V/1m), with an Xmax of 9.0 mm. It is recommended for use in standard sealed enclosures with a volume of 1.58 cu. ft. or vented enclosures of 2.66 cu. ft. Included with the subwoofer is a rubberized ABS trim ring, which allows for the accommodation of an optional grille insert.
