15 Stretch Back Half Frame Kit for Jeep YJ

This American-made kit replaces the rear portion of the factory Jeep YJ frame. It narrows the frame width by 8-1/16 inches and extends the frame rearward by 15 inches. This design provides space for outboard coil-over shocks and a longer custom 4-link rear suspension system, improving wheel articulation, stability, and off-road capabilities. The kit is a builder's kit, recommending professional fabrication and welding. It includes four sections of new frame rails constructed from 3/16 inch high-grade steel, precision CNC laser cut and formed, then professionally welded, sanded, and inspected. A fully welded heavy-duty rear bumper with integrated ¾-inch thick recovery mounts and two side plates for reinforcement are also included. The new frame rails feature two relocated body mount holes. Detailed assembly instructions are provided, guiding users on cutting the existing frame, making body cutouts for the new frame, squaring up the frame, and performing finish welds. The YJ body will also need to be cut and moved rearward by 15 inches, a process not covered by this kit. All parts ship as raw steel, and welding is required. This modification is permanent and irreversible.
