The DB Electrical 400-48268 alternator is a 150-amp, 12-volt aftermarket replacement unit engineered for superior charging performance. This unit boasts an internal fan and regulator, a solid pulley type, and operates in a clockwise (CW) rotation with 12 teeth. It is a brand-new part, not a used or reconditioned one, and comes with a 1-year warranty from DB Electrical. The alternator is specifically listed as compatible with Infiniti QX56 models from 2011 to 2013, including those with the 5.6L V8 engine (5552cc). It also replaces original part numbers such as Lester 11544, Mitsubishi A2TX1491, and Nissan 23100-1LA1A. For optimal performance, a larger charge wire is recommended for this high-output unit to ensure it operates at its full potential. It is imperative to have proper charge and ground cables. When installed correctly with a good battery, this alternator will not cause damage to the vehicle's charging system or battery, as it only produces what is demanded.
