The Rockford Fosgate T15kW is a 4-channel hybrid SQ/SPL amplifier, inspired by the power of a defibrillator to deliver extreme output. This amplifier is engineered to operate down to a 0.5-ohm load, producing a massive 15,000 Watts of total power. It utilizes a Class A/B circuit topology combined with Hybrid Technology (HT) for unparalleled sound quality and dynamic power. Key features include advanced thermal management with MEHSA substrate for efficient heat transfer and extended component life, as well as custom TO-247 MOSFETs for increased power capacity and improved heat dissipation. The amplifier is CTA-2006 compliant, ensuring its power ratings are real and not inflated marketing figures. It also includes visual indicators for crossover frequency, gain, available power, output level, and amplifier temperature. With its 1/0 AWG power/ground connectors and support for up to 12 AWG speaker wire, installation is robust. The T15kW offers versatile crossover controls, including high-pass and low-pass filters from 32-300Hz with a 12dB/octave Butterworth slope, and an infrasonic filter at -6dB @ 20Hz with a 24dB/octave slope. It also features a 2/4 channel input switch for flexibility in system configuration.
