1500W Mono Subwoofer Amplifier

The Alpine R2-A150M is a high-performance Class D mono subwoofer amplifier engineered to deliver powerful and clear bass for your audio system. It boasts substantial power output, providing 700W RMS x 1 at 4 ohms, 1200W RMS x 1 at 2 ohms, and a peak of 1500W RMS x 1 at 1 ohm, making it suitable for demanding subwoofer applications. Alpine's advanced amplifier technology is integrated, featuring high-efficiency transformers, premium low-noise custom capacitors, and low-distortion dual "Sierra" feedback/correction circuitry for enhanced realism, even with high-res tracks. This amplifier offers comprehensive control over your subwoofer's sound. It includes a variable low-pass filter adjustable from 50-400 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope, a variable bass boost ranging from 0-12 dB at 50 Hz, and a variable subsonic filter set between 8-40 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope. Connectivity is versatile, with both preamp and speaker-level inputs supported. For speaker-level input, a speaker wire to RCA adapter is required, and these inputs can handle voltages up to 10V. The unit also provides preamp outputs for system expansion. Installation considerations include a recommended 4-gauge power and ground wire gauge, and the amplifier has a fuse rating of 25A x 6. Wiring and hardware are not included with the amplifier. An optional RUX-KNOB.2 wired remote level control is available for convenient bass adjustment. This amplifier is designed to precisely match the power handling of Alpine R-Series subwoofers, such as two 10" or 12" models, or up to four 8" R-Series subwoofers when configured at 2 ohms.
