The Carbotech CT1894-1521 brake pads utilize the 1521 compound, engineered as the ultimate street performance option. This compound prioritizes a smooth modulation, significantly reduced dust, and quiet operation, all while delivering an excellent initial bite. Its linear torque production ensures strong braking force without ABS intervention. The 1521 compound is suitable for all street cars, making it a reliable choice for daily drivers, tow vehicles, and fleet applications. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from ambient up to 800°F (426°C+). However, it is crucial to note that the 1521 compound is specifically designed for street use and is NOT recommended for any track or autocross applications. Carbotech offers a diverse range of compounds for various driving needs. Other compounds like AX6™ are optimized for autocross, RP2™ for endurance racing, and the XP Series (XP8™ through XP24™) are championship-proven racing pads. It is important to select the correct compound for your intended use, as only the 1521™ is suitable for street driving. These pads are designed for the 2018-2023 Audi S5 Sportback.
