15T Turbocharger Upgrade

The Kinugawa turbocharger is a bolt-on upgrade kit engineered for the Mitsubishi 6G72T engine found in the 3000GT and Stealth models. This unit features a 42/56 mm compressor wheel, specifically the 15T variant, offering enhanced performance over stock TD04-9B or JDM 13T turbochargers. The 15T wheel specification indicates an increased airflow capacity compared to its predecessors, contributing to a more robust power band. Installation of this turbocharger requires supporting modifications. It necessitates an upgraded intake system, an intercooler, and an upgraded exhaust to function optimally. Furthermore, tuning is required after installation to properly manage the increased airflow and ensure engine health and performance. It is noted that this turbo will not suit standard components without these supporting upgrades.
