The connectors have a flared barrel with a uniform copper wall for easy and proper mechanical crimping. A crimp indicator on the barrel helps ensure correct tool placement, while clear heat shrink tubing allows for visual confirmation of the crimp. Colored stripes on the barrel indicate the appropriate crimp die to use.
