As a critical suspension component, this 16.5mm steel bar connects the rear wheels and resists the twisting motion that occurs during cornering, helping to keep the vehicle flatter through turns. This component is specifically designed for 2000-2003 BMW M5 models equipped with the 5.0L V8 S62 engine. It is not compatible with other BMW models, such as the 2009 BMW chassis, and should only be installed on the listed M5 applications. While often used as a performance upgrade for non-M E39 chassis vehicles, users should verify compatibility for those specific applications as additional hardware or modifications may be required.
