The Warn 16.5ti-S winch is a powerful, vehicle-mounted recovery winch engineered for the most demanding situations. With a massive 16,500 lb. capacity, it is designed for full-size 3/4-ton or 1-ton trucks and industrial applications requiring substantial pulling power. This winch features an 80-foot length of 3/8" Spydura Pro synthetic rope, paired with a large-radius polished-aluminum hawse fairlead. It operates on a 12-volt electrical system and employs a planetary gear drive for robust performance. A thermometric indicator (ti) is integrated, providing motor temperature feedback via an LED on the wired remote control for enhanced operational awareness. The construction includes extreme-duty sealing to protect internal components from water and debris, and a metal control box offers additional protection for the electronics. Installation of the 16.5ti-S winch requires a compatible bumper or mounting plate, which is sold separately. It is designed with a fixed mount type and features a class-leading cone brake that can hold the winch's full-rated load. The exterior boasts a chip-resistant powder-coated finish with a primer undercoating for superior corrosion resistance.
