16.6-Inch Brake Kit with Cross-Drilled Rotors

This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, is extremely lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than ProComp calipers and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines minimize expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems are equipped with 2-piece floating disc assemblies, which reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The rotors themselves feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment to ensure peak performance. This specific kit includes cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler than slotted rotors and are recommended for daily driven vehicles.
