Overview

The Tanks Inc TM11A-T is a 16-gallon fuel tank designed for 1973-1981 Chevy and GMC pickup trucks with short beds.

This fuel tank features EFI-style internal baffling with a dual tube baffled fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation. It is constructed from coated galvanized steel and powder-coated silver for durability. The tank is compatible with gasoline only and is not suitable for E85 or diesel fuel.

The Tanks Inc TM11A-T is a 16-gallon fuel tank specifically engineered for 1973-1981 Chevrolet and GMC Pickup Trucks with 6-foot short beds, fitting models C/K 10, 20, 30 Series and C/K 15, 25, 35 Series. Constructed from coated galvanized steel and finished with a durable silver powder coat, this tank is built to last. It features an EFI-style internal baffling system, complete with an extra-large 4.8-liter dual tube baffled fuel tray, designed to prevent fuel pump starvation during spirited driving or under heavy acceleration. This makes it an ideal upgrade for Pro-Touring, Autocross, or Road Racing applications. This fuel tank is ready for electronic fuel injection (EFI) conversions and utilizes aftermarket 5-bolt senders (available separately) which offer multiple Ohm ranges to work with factory or aftermarket gauges. It is also compatible with tube or reed senders. The tank has a capacity of 16 gallons and measures 42-7/8" x 14-1/8" x 11". It is designed for gasoline only and is not compatible with E85 or diesel fuels. For a complete setup, a compatible GPA series fuel pump (available in various flow rates from 109 to 450 liters per hour) and a fuel sending unit should be chosen separately.
