16-Gallon EFI Fuel Tank

The Tanks Inc. MU-FA-T is a custom-fit 16-gallon fuel tank engineered specifically for 1960-65 Ford Falcons and 1960-63 Mercury Comets. This stamped steel tank, finished in zinc, addresses the original filling challenges of the Falcon by incorporating a custom downward-facing fuel filler neck that is compatible with the original gas cap. Its design is based on a 1964-68 Mustang tank, providing a unique solution for these classic vehicles. This tank is designed for fuel injection systems and includes EFI-style internal baffling with an extra-large 4.8-liter dual-tube baffled fuel tray. This advanced baffling system is crucial for preventing fuel pump starvation during spirited driving or when the fuel level is low. The tank features a 2-inch OD fuel filler neck and is designed to work with aftermarket 5-bolt hole sending units, offering multiple Ohm ranges to ensure compatibility with both factory (73-10 ohm) and aftermarket gauges. For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this tank with Tanks Inc.'s GPA In-Tank Fuel Pump Modules, available in various flow rates from 109 to 450 liters per hour.
