16-Gauge Mild Steel Long Tube Headers

The PowerGo Motorsport Long Tube Headers are engineered for 1988-1999 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs, including C1500, C2500, K1500, K2500, Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon models equipped with the 5.0L (305 cu. in.) or 5.7L (350 cu. in.) Small Block V8 engine. These headers feature a full-length design that aims to maximize power gains from the mid to high RPM range, complemented by a long transition collector to reduce back pressure. Constructed from durable 16-gauge mild steel, these headers boast fully mandrel-bent tubes for optimal flow. The head flanges are precision laser-cut from 5/16-inch thick steel plates and flattened using a hydraulic press to ensure a precise and leak-free seal. All joints are TIG welded to enhance resistance against cracking and wear, ensuring longevity. The headers are finished with a black paint coating capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius. Installation is compatible with both 2WD and 4WD configurations for the specified model years and engines.
