The M7 Speed R53 16% Overdrive Supercharger Pulley is engineered to significantly boost your MINI's performance. This pulley increases supercharger speed by 16%, leading to improved low-end power, enhanced street drivability, and better on-track performance. Constructed with M7's advanced engineering mindset, the main pulley body is precision CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum alloy and finished with a gold anodized coating and laser etching. Its Micro V-Belt grooves are manufactured to SAE J1459 specifications to minimize belt slippage under maximum boost. Additional shoulders on both sides of the pulley help prevent belt walk at high engine speeds, while active cooling slots pull in cool air to reduce belt temperature. The pulley features a proprietary taper locking shaft bushing made from high-strength alloy steel, allowing for increased bolt torque during installation. This high clamping force ensures no slippage between the pulley and the supercharger shaft. M7 highlights its superior shaft locking system, lightweight rotational mass, and active cooling as key advantages over other pulleys on the market. This pulley is designed for the MINI Cooper S Convertible (R52S) and Hatchback (R53) models. For the ultimate power upgrade, M7 Speed recommends pairing this pulley with their 4% crank pulley to create a comprehensive supercharger drive system. This product is proudly made in the USA.
