This comprehensive 16-piece kit includes eight intake valves and eight exhaust valves, providing a complete valvetrain solution for engine rebuilds or performance upgrades. Constructed from a single piece of forged SAE EV8 (UNS S63008) stainless steel, these valves are designed for durability and performance under demanding conditions. Supertech applies specific heat treatments to this material to achieve varying levels of hardness and ductility, catering to both street performance and heavy-duty racing requirements. The valves are further enhanced with a Black Nitrided coating, a hardening surface treatment that offers notable advantages and is gaining popularity, especially in European and Japanese engine applications.
