AVOTurboworld's Oil Cooler Kit is meticulously engineered to enhance the cooling efficiency of your Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, or Toyota GT86. This kit has undergone rigorous track testing in demanding conditions, ensuring its reliability and performance. The design focuses not only on the cooler itself but also on its optimal placement for maximum heat dissipation. An integrated air duct is included to channel air from the front grill to the cooler, ensuring effective airflow even at speed. The oil cooler features a thermostatic control plate designed to activate within the 85-90°C (185-190°F) range. This feature is crucial for maintaining appropriate oil temperatures during colder months, preventing potential damage. During track testing, the system demonstrated the ability to keep oil temperatures consistently matching water temperatures, even under extensive lapping. The kit includes AN -10 braided steel lines with swivel fittings for straightforward installation. The oil cooler measures H 125mm x L 290mm x W 50mm and incorporates a 16-row cooling unit. It is supported by steel mounting brackets featuring rubber vibration isolators for durability and reduced noise. The air duct is specifically designed to fit with standard bumpers on the BRZ, FR-S, and GT86 models and is compatible with AVO turbocharger kit piping. This cooler is suitable for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications and will fit with OEM foglights. All necessary hardware is included for a complete installation.
