This thermostat is specifically designed for the 2.0L engine.

The Evenflo 160° low-temperature thermostat is engineered to optimize the performance and efficiency of compatible Ford and Lincoln EcoBoost engines. Unlike the stock 188°F thermostat, this unit operates at a cooler 160°F, which Livernois Motorsports has identified through extensive R&D and custom tuning as a more efficient operating temperature for the EcoBoost platform. This cooler operation helps to mitigate heatsoak issues that can affect performance and efficiency. This thermostat directly replaces the OEM unit and does not require a coolant drain beforehand, though topping off and burping the system after installation is necessary. The benefit of installing this 160° thermostat is that your engine will run cooler, ensuring consistent performance and potentially increasing coolant flow to extend engine component longevity. This thermostat is specifically designed for the 2.0L EcoBoost engine. It is not compatible with the 1.5L or 1.6L engines. Examples of compatible vehicles include the 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands 2.0 Liter Turbocharged and the 2.0 EcoBoost Mustang.
