Overview

The Blouch 16G-XT is a turbocharger that utilizes the latest in billet compressor aerodynamics with genuine Mitsubishi journal bearing technology. It features a custom Blouch compressor housing for improved fitment and a closed die forged, fully machined billet 16G-XT compressor wheel. The center housing is genuine Mitsubishi, and the TD05H turbine wheel fits into choice of 7cm2 or 8cm2 turbine housings. It spools quickly and produces great mid-range torque and top-end power.

The Blouch 16G-XT Turbo is a performance upgrade for Subaru WRX and STI vehicles, offering a significant increase in power. It incorporates a genuine Mitsubishi TD05H turbine wheel and a custom-designed Blouch 65mm billet XT compressor wheel, which is lighter, stronger, and offers greater flow than traditional cast units. The turbo features a Garrett ball bearing Center Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) for enhanced durability and quicker spool response. This turbocharger is configured with a 54mm turbine wheel and is available with either a 7cm² or 8cm² turbine housing, allowing for tuning flexibility. The compressor housing is custom-designed by Blouch for improved fitment. Flow rate is rated at 38 lbs per minute, and the turbo is capable of producing up to 410 crank horsepower, making it a suitable option for enthusiasts targeting high-performance output. A complete pre-installed drain tube and coolant line package ensures a straightforward bolt-on installation. Applications for this turbo include the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX and the 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI. Note that for 2009-2014 WRX models, an aftermarket intercooler is required for proper installation of this turbo. All Blouch turbochargers are custom-built to order and are not eligible for return.
