The 5 Star Tuning V2 170° thermostat is a performance thermostat designed to improve power gains by reducing heat soak. It opens at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, which helps to reduce overall engine temperature for better performance.

This thermostat is a direct, drop-in replacement for the factory unit. It features a factory-style diaphragm for OEM-like operation and sealing, ensuring reliability and preventing leaks. The product requires the reuse of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) O-ring; the O-ring included with the thermostat should not be used.
