Overview

The Boat Leveler 12727A is a trim tab actuator cylinder designed for marine applications. It is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced, impact-resistant nylon, making it UV resistant and preventing expansion from hydraulic pressure or water absorption. This actuator includes an 8 ft hydraulic hose and two securing pins. It features two expanding type seals and an O-ring to prevent leaks. The cylinder fitting has a tubular steel insert to protect against impacts, and simple nylon pins act as shear pins in case of collision with submerged objects. Swivel brackets on both ends allow for mounting at any angle, simplifying installation on non-perpendicular transoms. Stainless steel springs are used to retract the cylinder when the boat is not in motion.
