17 RCS Radial Brake Master Cylinder

The Brembo 17 RCS Radial Brake Master Cylinder is a high-performance component designed to elevate the braking capabilities of sport motorcycles. It is particularly developed for pairing with Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, optimizing the hydraulic transmission ratios for enhanced braking performance and feel. Riders can customize their braking experience using the patented RCS (Ratio Click System) which allows the lever pivot distance to be adjusted between 18mm (red marking for gradual feel) and 20mm (black marking for more responsive braking) via an eccentric cam. The master cylinder body is crafted from a forged aluminum alloy and precisely machined on CNC equipment, featuring a hard-anodized surface finish for superior resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The hinged brake lever incorporates a patented system that allows angular movement only in the event of a fall, enhancing dynamic safety and preventing accidental rotation. This kit includes a Normally Closed (N/C) brake light micro-switch, suitable for most street applications. However, it is not compatible with systems requiring a Normally Closed switch, such as some BMW or Yamaha cruise control models. The kit also includes Tygon 2375 tubing (1/4" diameter, 12" length) and a KurveyGirl Titanium Double Line Banjo Bolt (M10x1.0). The 17RCS is specified for twin-disc bikes with axial or radial calipers where the caliper piston diameter is 32mm or lower and is not compatible with floating calipers. Installation may require additional parts such as a reservoir bracket or custom brake lines, and it is not a plug-and-play component for all applications. Master cylinders are a non-returnable item and serviced through Brembo USA.
