The Summit Racing™ Vortec Cast Iron SBC Cylinder Heads (SUM-151124) are engineered to deliver enhanced airflow and improved combustion efficiency over early model small Chevy heads. Constructed from durable cast iron, these heads feature 175cc intake runners and 67cc combustion chambers, designed for optimal performance. Key specifications include 1.94-inch intake valves and 1.50-inch exhaust valves, paired with flat tappet springs capable of handling up to .520 inches of valve lift. These features contribute to a high-performance valve job, outperforming stock Vortec heads in airflow at 0.500 inch lift, with intake flow at 232 cfm and exhaust flow at 138 cfm.
