17RCS CORSA CORTA Radial Brake Master Cylinder

The Brembo 17RCS CORSA CORTA Radial Master Cylinder builds upon the 17RCS Evolution by introducing advanced BITE POINT Adjustment. This feature allows riders to customize the responsiveness of their brakes, mirroring the control used by MotoGP athletes. The master cylinder offers three distinct bite point settings: 'R' for Race, providing immediate response ideal for track use; 'S' for Sport, offering a more dynamic feel for spirited riding; and 'N' for Normal, delivering a gradual engagement suitable for poor grip conditions. Beyond the bite point, the 17RCS CORSA CORTA provides comprehensive adjustability. The lever position can be finely tuned click by click to suit individual hand size and preference. Additionally, the RCS (Ratio Click System) allows for a choice between an 18 mm or 20 mm fulcrum-to-piston distance by simply rotating an eccentric screw, enabling riders to adapt the lever ratio to different braking system characteristics and riding environments. The lever itself is a folding design manufactured by forging, incorporating a patented system for enhanced safety in the event of a tumble. It is not compatible with Floating Calipers. The 17RCS Corsa Corta is suitable for calipers with a piston diameter of 32mm or lower. A special housing for a rear stop light micro-switch is included for street usage, though it operates as "normally open" and may require modification for certain OEM systems (e.g., BMW, Yamaha equipped with cruise control). Installation may require specific brake lines or adapters as OEM axial master cylinder brake hoses may not fit a radial master cylinder due to differing positions. A M10x1.0 mm banjo adapter may be needed for some Japanese bikes.
