Description

The PA Performance High Output Alternator, boasting a 180 Amp capacity, is engineered to satisfy the electrical demands of power-hungry Mustangs. It ensures efficient charging across all RPM ranges, delivering a substantial 100 amps at idle and a total of 180 amps. Installation is straightforward as it directly replaces the stock unit without the need for modifications, requiring only common hand tools. However, a power wire upgrade is recommended because the stock wiring may not be sufficient to handle the increased charging capacities. This high-output alternator is specifically designed to fit all 1996-2001 Ford Mustang Cobra and Bullitt models, as well as all 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 models. It is important to note that this alternator requires a power wire upgrade for optimal performance.
