19-Row Bolt-On Oil Cooler Kit

The Grassroots Performance bolt-on oil cooler kit is engineered to enhance the oil life and lubrication of your Nissan SR20DE/SR20DET engine. This kit features a 19-row cooler and a CNC-machined oil block plate adapter made from high-grade billet 6061 aluminum. The adapter includes ports for oil pressure and oil temperature sensors, and it replaces the factory OEM filter housing, enabling straightforward filter relocation. Constructed with classic design and proven engineering, this 2-inch thick dual-core oil cooler kit helps maintain optimal oil temperatures, which also aids the engine cooling system by reducing heat soak. The oil travels from the block through adjustable length, high-temperature/high-pressure stainless steel braided nylon hoses. The kit increases cooling efficiency and oil capacity, making it a vital upgrade for performance and track builds, offering added cooling and freeing up engine bay space. Key specifications include a core size of 11.5" x 5.5" x 2.00", an overall size of 13" x 6.6" x 2.00", and -10AN in/out fittings. The cooler is tested to withstand working loads up to 150 psi and adds an increased oil capacity of 0.38L. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the Grassroots Performance Racing Oil Filter. An optional Derale thermostatic in-line adapter kit is also available, which allows the oil to bypass the cooler until it reaches 180°F (82°C), promoting quicker engine warm-up while maintaining a constant pressure system. This thermostatic unit can be rotated 180° to change flow direction and flows up to 20 gallons per minute, rated up to 200 psi.
