These main studs are constructed from robust 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated in-house to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. ARP's precision J-form threads are rolled after the heat-treating process, resulting in significantly stronger threads compared to conventional methods. By helping to eliminate main cap walk and fretting, these studs enhance the reliability and longevity of your engine build. This main stud kit is specifically designed for various Jeep applications with the 4.0L Inline 6-cylinder engine, including the 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee, 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1987-1990 Jeep Wagoneer, 1987-1992 Jeep Comanche, and 1991-2006 Jeep Wrangler. The kit does not work with a windage tray.
