1955-85 SB & BB CHEVY BELLHOUSING K

The Racing Power Company R7840 is an aluminum bellhousing kit for 1955-85 Small Block and Big Block Chevrolet engines. It is designed to accommodate up to an 11-inch diameter clutch disc and accepts either a 153 or 168-tooth flywheel. The bellhousing has a depth of 6.450 inches, a clutch fork opening of 2.125 x 3.300 inches, and a bore diameter for the transmission front bearing retainer of 4.684 inches. It is intended for use with a mechanical clutch fork and throwout bearing linkage. The kit includes the aluminum bellhousing, a metal dust cover plate with bolts and washers, a clutch fork, a clutch fork boot, a clutch fork pivot ball, and a mechanical throwout bearing. This product will NOT fit 1962-1967 Chevy II & Nova or Vega/Monza models.
