The Sniper EFI Fuel Tank System (MPN 19-158) from Sniper EFI is a direct-fit, electronic fuel injection (EFI) conversion solution for 1970-1973 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models. This system features a 255 LPH (liters per hour) fuel pump module, capable of supporting up to 550 horsepower at 60 PSI (13.5 Volts / 10.4 AMP Draw). The fuel tank is constructed from coated galvanized steel and then powder-coated silver for enhanced corrosion resistance. Its design incorporates notched front corners, which provides additional clearance for wider tires and exhaust systems, particularly beneficial for mini-tub installations. The kit includes the fuel tank, the 255 LPH fuel pump, a fuel level sender (calibrated for factory gauges), new tank straps, and a two-piece filler neck that connects with a supplied 2-inch ID rubber hose. The fuel pump and sender are recessed within the tank for a clean and straightforward installation without requiring vehicle modifications. Internal baffling includes a 4.3-liter fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation during aggressive driving. The sender unit features 1/4\" NPT threaded ports for supply and return lines, along with a barbed vent fitting for easy fuel line connections.
