Vortech supercharging systems are 100% complete and include a compressor matched, computer-aided designed and machined Vortech centrifugal supercharger with SQ technology ("Super Quiet"). This kit includes a calibrated fuel system for proper fuel management, a high-performance ignition system with boost timing retard, and custom computer tuning. It also features a high-flow air intake system with a reusable air filter and specially formed polypropylene plastic inlet ducts. The system uses heat-resistant silicone hose couplings, premium grade flex hose, and stainless steel clamps. Carefully designed and flow-tested cast aluminum and/or roto-molded urethane air discharge tubing is included, along with a compressor bypass valve. OEM style single cast 356 aluminum mounting brackets, heat treated to T-6 specifications, ensure a secure fit. The kit is completed with a supercharger drive pulley, integrated belt tensioner, premium drive belt, heavy-duty mounting hardware, and a heavy-duty engine oil lubrication system. This kit is designed to increase 5.0L V8 output from 215 hp and 265 lb-ft to 323 hp and 365 lb-ft, a gain of 108 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque.
