The Progress Technology rear sway bar replaces smaller factory sway bars to effectively combat unwanted body roll and chassis understeer. By utilizing a larger 19mm diameter alloy steel bar paired with durable polyurethane bushings, the system increases roll stiffness, ensuring that tire contact patches remain stable and well-connected to the road during cornering. Each sway bar is cold-formed using precision CNC bending equipment and features laser-cut, CNC-machined ends that are MIG-welded in place for an exact fit. Developed and manufactured in-house by Progress Technology in the USA, this component provides a direct improvement in cornering grip and overall driver confidence. This sway bar is specifically designed for the following applications: 2008-2014 Scion xD Base; 2007-2012 Toyota Yaris Base; 2012-2014 Toyota Yaris L, LE, and SE; and 2007-2009 Toyota Yaris S.
