The Brembo 19mm RCS Radial Brake Master Cylinder is a precision-engineered control unit designed to bring professional racing technology to the street. Constructed from forged aluminium with a hard-anodized finish, the unit utilizes a 19mm bore diameter and MotoGP-inspired internal geometry for reduced tolerances and smooth operation. The patented RCS (Ratio Click System) allows riders to adapt braking performance to track or street conditions by rotating an eccentric adjuster to switch between 18mm (red spot) and 20mm (black spot) lever ratios. The master cylinder is designed for 22mm handlebars and includes a dedicated micro-switch housing, enabling brake light functionality for road use without requiring pressure-sensitive banjo bolts. Installation requires specific attention to hardware compatibility: if the replaced master cylinder is not a Brembo unit, the existing banjo bolt must be replaced with an M10x1.00 short thread bolt. Additionally, this system utilizes a remote reservoir design; if not already equipped, a separate reservoir, hose, and clips are necessary for completion. For optimal performance, the unit features an integral bleed nipple to facilitate efficient system maintenance.
