The ARM Motorsports 1K FMIC is a front mount intercooler upgrade designed for E-Series BMWs. It features a massive 1,155 cubic inch core, measuring 20"x11"x7.5", making it 270% larger than the stock unit. The intercooler utilizes an ultra-dense fin pack with 20 fins per inch for maximum cooling efficiency. It is capable of supporting over 1,000whp and is designed to work with upgraded twin turbo and single turbo setups.

The ARM Motorsports 1K FMIC is a high-performance front mount intercooler engineered as a significant upgrade for E-Series BMW models. With an impressive core volume of 1,155 cubic inches and dimensions of 20"x11"x7.5", this intercooler is 270% larger than the factory component, offering substantially increased cooling capacity. Construction focuses on maximizing thermal efficiency through an ultra-dense fin pack design with 20 fins per inch. This robust construction allows the intercooler to support over 1,000 wheel horsepower and is specifically designed to complement upgraded twin-turbo and big single-turbo configurations. The end-tanks feature smooth transitions with 3" inlet and outlet ports to minimize turbulence and enhance airflow from the turbos to the charge pipe. An integrated fin within the inlet port further optimizes charge air distribution across the core for more effective cooling. The kit includes the ARM 1K FMIC unit, a lower charge pipe upgrade, clamps, and mounting hardware. For proper installation, a 3" charge pipe is required. The intercooler is compatible with a range of BMW E-Series models, including the 1M Coupe, 135i (E82, E88), and 335i/335xi (E90, E92, E93), all equipped with N54/N55 3.0L engines.
