The ARM Motorsports 1K FMIC is a high-performance front mount intercooler engineered as a direct upgrade for E-Series BMW models equipped with N54 and N55 engines. Designed to support demanding builds, including those with upgraded twin turbo and big single turbo setups, this intercooler is capable of supporting over 1,000 wheel horsepower. The core of the ARM 1K FMIC is exceptionally large, boasting a volume of 1,155 cubic inches. Measuring 20"x11"x7.5", its frontal area is 270% larger than the factory intercooler, making it one of the most substantial FMIC options available for the E-Series BMW. To complement its impressive size, the intercooler features an ultra-dense fin pack with 20 fins per inch, optimizing heat dissipation and maximizing the cooling potential of its massive core. The end-tanks are meticulously designed with smooth internal geometry and 3-inch inlet and outlet ports to reduce turbulence and promote efficient airflow from the turbos to the charge pipe. Further enhancing its performance, the ARM 1K FMIC incorporates a cast fin within the inlet port. This feature aids in distributing charged air more uniformly across the turbo-side of the intercooler core, ensuring consistent cooling. The ARM 1K FMIC includes a Lower Charge Pipe Upgrade, clamps, and all necessary mounting hardware for installation.
