This process helps maintain fuel octane and prevents the buildup of oil and carbon deposits within the engine. By separating oil from crankcase pressure, it supports consistent power delivery and enhances overall engine protection. Constructed from compact cast aluminum with a durable wrinkle black powder coat finish, this Air/Oil Separator boasts a 1-liter holding capacity, allowing for safe power increases without concerns of overfilling. It features integrated ORB ports for efficient connections and a unique coolant routing system on the back plate that heats the entire unit to engine temperature. This heating mechanism maximizes the evaporation of collected water, minimizing its mixture with the engine oil. The design also incorporates heat shielding on the crankcase breather and oil return lines, as well as a coolant bleeder valve. This configuration allows for more effective and rapid evacuation of crankcase pressure, thereby reducing overall system pressure. It is important to note that this COBB Air/Oil Separator is 50 State Legal with CARB Executive Orders D-660-25 and D-660-45.
