Crafted with high-temperature butyl rubber adhesive and an ultra-thick, annealed black foil constraint layer featuring a ghosted logo, this mat offers excellent vibration damping. Each sheet measures 12" x 24" (2 sq ft) and weighs approximately 0.35 lbs per sq ft, maintaining a total thickness of 1mm (40 mils). This sound deadening material is designed for extreme durability, with a thermal range from -75°F to 450°F, ensuring it will not melt, outgas, or detach. The adhesion is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle on metal surfaces. Damplifier is proudly made in the USA and explicitly avoids cheap filler materials, asphalt, or flimsy foil that can compromise performance. Installation involves cleaning the bare sheet metal surface with denatured alcohol, cutting the mat to size, and applying it using a wooden hand roller to ensure a permanent bond and eliminate air pockets. For optimal results, it can be combined with other soundproofing materials like Luxury Liner Pro. Damplifier is suitable for a wide range of automotive applications, including commercial vehicles, van conversions, high-performance cars, and electric vehicles, as well as residential and industrial uses.
