The New Venture Gear 22784 is a 1st gear specifically engineered for NV5600 transmissions, featuring a 39-tooth count on the main shaft. Constructed from durable SAE8620 forged steel, this gear is further enhanced with a phosphate coating for increased wear resistance and longevity. This 1st gear is compatible with NV5600 transmissions produced from 2001 to the present. It serves as a direct replacement for New Venture Gear part number 22784 and Mopar part number 05019907AB. Early sources indicate fitment for 2001-2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 3/4 and 1-ton trucks equipped with the Cummins diesel engine and NV5600 transmission. Some references also suggest compatibility with 1998-2005 NV5600 units.
