1UZ-FE EGR Delete Kit

The Lextreme 1UZ-FE EGR Delete Kit is the original, comprehensive solution for removing the entire Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system from 1990-1997 1UZ-FE V8 engines. This kit is designed for models such as the Lexus LS400, Lexus SC400, and Toyota Soarer, as well as vehicles with 1UZ engine swaps. Unlike simple block-off plates, this kit provides a complete package including CNC-machined plates for exhaust and intake ports, a specialized resistor to prevent the Check Engine Light (CEL) or Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) from illuminating after the EGR system is removed, and all necessary hardware for installation. The components included are an exhaust passenger-side block plate, an intake exhaust plate, a side EGR block plate, the CEL/MIL preventing resistor, and a hardware kit containing a radiator bypass hose, vacuum line, and plug caps. Clear, printed instructions are also provided. Removing the EGR system offers several benefits. It helps to lower intake air temperatures, leading to a denser charge and potentially more power, while also eliminating the heat soak from the rear of the cylinder head which can be a source of detonation. For newer models, vacuum lines and the EGR valve may differ from the photos, and the PCV system can be vented to the air with a small filter or re-routed to another intake vacuum port.
