1UZ V8 Engine Swap Motor Mount Brackets

The Xcessive T-1UZ-MA-MB motor mount brackets are engineered to facilitate the installation of a 1UZ V8 engine into Corolla models, specifically designed to mate with the AE86 rack and pinion type front cross member. Constructed from robust 1/4" steel and precision fixture welded, these mounts are designed for rigidity, providing solid engine support without the use of rubber isolators. This ensures the engine, a tight fit in the chassis, remains securely in place. Installation in a Corolla chassis for a 1UZ V8 will require modifications. While the TE-72 chassis was able to accommodate the engine under the stock hood with trimming of under-hood bracing and removal of some 1UZ emissions vacuum lines, the lower profile of the AE hood will necessitate cross member spacers and/or intake modifications, as well as transmission tunnel modifications. The product images show an installation in a TE-72 without subframe spacers. The kit includes one right-hand (RH) and one left-hand (LH) motor bracket, along with eight new bolts for securing the brackets to the engine block. Note that this product is specifically for the engine-to-chassis mounting and does not include components for transmission adaptation.
