1UZFE V8 Transmission Adapter Kit

The XAT Racing transmission adapter kit is a billet CNC machined component engineered for 1UZFE V8 engine swaps. This kit facilitates the integration of the W58 or W55 transmissions, enabling a manual conversion for your vehicle. The adapter plate is CNC machined from billet material for precise fitment and durability. It is designed to work with specific bellhousings: the U1 or U2 automatic bellhousing from 4-speed and 5-speed automatic transmissions is required. Note that the 3UZ 6-speed bellhousing is not compatible with this kit. The kit allows the use of OEM-style or 12 lb chromoly flywheels with single-disc clutches, specifically those from an SW20 MR-2 turbo. Twin-disc options from QuarterMaster are also supported, with a specific throw-out bearing requirement for each. Installation requires a 3/4" bore master cylinder; while the factory master cylinder may suffice depending on the application, most Japanese manual master cylinders are 5/8" and will not be adequate. It utilizes the OEM auto bellhousing for guaranteed fitment and includes stainless fittings for clutch line attachment. XAT Racing emphasizes the use of hardened steel ring gears over aluminum for long-term reliability and precise, tested fitment due to the CNC manufacturing process.
