Its clear anodized aluminum body effectively dissipates heat, while the external reservoir provides increased oil and nitrogen capacity for improved damping. The integrated CD Adjuster offers 8 levels of compression adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning from soft to firm settings to handle rough terrain. Constructed with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components, this shock absorber features a race-developed high-flow damping piston and application-specific valving for a predictable and capable ride. Specifications include a 7.88-inch travel length, 21.43-inch extended length, and a 13.55-inch compressed length. The internal design is a gas-charged monotube with adjustable valving. This shock is designed for rear axle fitment and provides a 0-1 inch lift. It is compatible with various Land Rover models, including the Defender (1983-2014) and Discovery (1994-1998), as well as Range Rover models (1987-1994). Factory hardware, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, is included for installation, with factory shock mounting bolts being reused.
