2.0 Performance Series IFP Shock

The Fox 2.0 Shock is part of the Performance Series IFP line, engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for trucks and Jeeps. This shock utilizes a monotube design incorporating an internal reservoir. This internal floating piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and cavitation. This design ensures maximum performance and a predictable ride, even in demanding conditions, delivering fade-free performance. The shock body is constructed from a cold-forged, metal-impacted 6061 T6 aluminum, which dissipates heat significantly faster than traditional steel bodies, allowing the 2.0 Performance Series shock to run as cool as a larger 2.5 diameter shock. The heavy-duty 5/8 inch chrome alloy steel shaft is induction case hardened to over 55 Rockwell C, providing exceptional resistance to scratches from rust and debris. The factory-tuned, precision valving is specifically calibrated by FOX and BDS to work in conjunction with BDS Suspension systems, transforming BDS-equipped vehicles into capable off-road machines. Key specifications include a 2-inch shock diameter, monotube internal design, and gas-charged operation. The top and bottom mounts are both EB1 type. The extended length is approximately 26.85 inches, and the collapsed length is approximately 16.75 inches. The product is sold individually.
