The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP (Internal Floating Piston) smooth body shock absorber is engineered to significantly upgrade the suspension performance of your truck or SUV. Constructed with a precision metal impact aluminum body, this shock absorber not only provides increased cooling capacity but also ensures long-term durability by resisting rust. The internal IFP mono-tube design is crucial for performance, as it effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, maximizing the effectiveness of the factory-tuned, application-specific valving and high-flow damping piston. This shock absorber is specifically designed for the front position of 2011-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD models, with fitment extending to 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD/4WD. It is suitable for factory ride height and offers compatibility with 0-1 inch of lift. The shock features a BARPIN top mount and a CLEVIS bottom mount, with an extended length of 18.609 inches, a compressed length of 13.169 inches, and 5.44 inches of travel. All necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts are included for installation, utilizing factory shock mounting bolts.
