2.0 Performance Series IFP Shock Absorber

The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shock absorber utilizes advanced technology to transform your Truck or SUV's suspension. The shock body is made from precision metal-impact aluminum, which dissipates heat effectively and will not rust. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design is crucial for performance, as it separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, allowing the factory-tuned precision valving to operate at maximum efficiency. This shock absorber offers an extended length of 16.05 inches, a compressed length of 10.95 inches, and 5.1 inches of travel. It features a stem top mount and an eyelet bottom mount. The package includes all necessary hardware for installation, such as washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts; however, factory shock mounting bolts are reused. Shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately. This shock is designed for a factory position with a 0-1 inch lift/lowered range and is compatible with various Chevrolet and GMC models, including the Avalanche 2500, Silverado (1500 HD, 2500, 2500 HD, 3500, 3500 HD), Suburban 2500, Sierra (1500 HD, 2500, 2500 HD, 3500, 3500 HD), Yukon XL 2500, and Hummer H2 from model years ranging from 1999 to 2013, depending on the specific vehicle. For Silverado 2500 and Sierra 2500 models from 1999-2004, 4WD is specified.
