The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shocks are engineered with the latest shock technology to significantly improve the performance of your truck or SUV. The durable, precision-machined aluminum body is clear-anodized for corrosion resistance and increased cooling efficiency. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration. This allows the factory-tuned precision valving to perform at its maximum potential. The race-developed high-flow damping piston, combined with application-specific valving, delivers a predictable ride quality that can confidently handle rough terrain. Key specifications include an extended length of 25.92 inches, a compressed length of 16.30 inches, and 9.62 inches of travel. The top and bottom mounts are EYELET/SLEEVE type. The package contains one shock absorber, and installation reuses factory shock mounting bolts, with necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts included. Shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately. This shock absorber is specifically designed for the rear position of the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger models, accommodating a lift of 0-1.5 inches for both 2WD and 4WD applications.
