2.0 Performance Series IFP Smooth Body Shock

The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shock is engineered to significantly enhance your truck or SUV's performance. The shock's body is constructed from precision metal-impact aluminum, which not only increases cooling efficiency but also provides long-lasting rust resistance. Internally, this mono-tube shock features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design. This configuration effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, thereby eliminating oil aeration. This separation allows for optimal performance from the application-specific, factory-tuned precision valving. The race-developed, high-flow damping piston works in conjunction with this valving to deliver predictable ride quality capable of handling rough terrain. This specific shock absorber (part number 980-24-672) is designed for the rear position of 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma models, providing a 0-1 inch lift. It features eyelet mounts on both the top and bottom, an extended length of 20.45 inches, and a collapsed length of 13.35 inches, with 7.1 inches of travel. Factory hardware, including washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, is included for installation, with factory shock mounting bolts being reused. Shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately.
